Shipping and Delivery Policy
When you place an order in our website www.pastry4.com, we’ll send you a SMS confirmation to you.
You will get SMS alerts of your order status sent to your mobile. To check the delivery status of your order, visit the Order Status page on www.pastry4.com and type in your order number and mobile no.
We will deliver your order on choosen delivery date and time. Estimated delivery time may vary due to shipping practices, based upon delivery location and the items you ordered. When we use independent carriers to deliver orders, based on the estimated delivery time upon information provided to us by the independent carriers.
We deliver between 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, on alll days, excluding some specific holidays. We cannot determine your exact delivery time, but we can tell you if your order has been shipped or not. We will send SMS 30 mins before shipped the order.

- 11 AM – 12 PM
- 12 PM – 1.30 PM
- 2.30 PM – 3.30 PM
- 3.30 PM – 4.30 PM
- 4.30 PM – 5.30 PM
- 5.30 PM – 6.30 PM
- 8 PM – 9 PM
- 9 PM – 10 PM
- 10 PM – 11 PM
We need minium of 3 – 6 hours to process the furture orders. For immediate and Today delivery, please confirm before you place order. once you placed the order could not be canceled. Place order before 8 PM, that will be delivered before 11 PM on same day.
- Pending means we’ve received your order and not yet processed.
- Approved means we’ve received your order and still in pending to reconfirm on Phone call.
- Processed means we’ve received your order and are in the processed.
- Shipped means we’ve shipping your order and the deliver person on the way to your door step.
- Canceled means the order was canceled by either the customer or by Dona Cakes World Customer Service Representative for more details contact us.
We can deliver on selected Locations with in Chennai and Suburban only.
If address entered in the Non-Serviceable area, the order stands cancelled and NO refund will be initiated. If our team contacts you regarding wrong delivery address, and you want to get deliver in another serviceable area, the charges will apply. The order cannot be cancelled and refunded in case you don’t want to pay.
You acknowledge that requested delivery time is non-binding. Estimated delivery time depends on the availability of the product and the destination to which you want the product to be delivered.There is no guarantee of delivery time of the products in the time slots mentioned on website in case of peak hours between 5 PM to 9 PM. The orders will be processed and delivered up to 24 hours of requested date and time slot of order.
Delivery may take longer due to:
1. Bad weather
2. Political disruptions
3. Other unforeseen circumstances
In such cases, we will proactively reach out to you. Please check your SMS regularly for updates.
Products that are hand delivered cannot be delivered along with courier products.
For perishable items like cakes and flowers, we attempt delivery of your order only once. In the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, you shall still be charged for the order and no re-delivery will be possible. We will consider the order executed in the below cases:
- Wrong shipping/delivery address.
- Recipient not available.
- Premises locked.
- Recipient refusing to accept the delivery.
- In case if the recipient is not available,
- he/she can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate/reception/neighbour.
Proof of delivery will be provided in case of any dispute in delivery.
Before starting the delivery our delivery person will call and confirm the receipent. If there is no one available at the shipping addresses to accept the delivery of your order at the time of delivery, the order will not be considered late. Hence in such cases, no refunds, cancellations, liability can be made. We will surely try our best.
If recipient receives the products in damaged condition
- Recipient should check the products delivered (cakes, flowers, any other) before receiving the products.
- If product delivered found damaged, recipient should refuse to accept it and immediately inform Customer Care call at 99405 89480.
- In case of badly damaged products, replacement will be provided. Kindly allow a minimum of 6 hours for the replacement.
When damage or issues with the product are reported, the quality assessment officer appointed by us will assess the situation and can accept or reject the following request based on his/her discretion to replace the product or refund the amount.
Minimalistic and cosmetic damages like –
- Name/ message on cake not written.
- Name and message not attached with flowers.
- Cream of cake / decoration on cake / flowers packaging issues – will not be eligible for refunds/replacements until unless they are severely damaged.
